Călina Iacob joined KPMG in Romania in 2008 and in her career to date she has been involved in projects for the implementation of new regulations such as Basel II, Mifid 2 and Solvency 2. Moreover, Călina has supported clients in complex NBR authorization projects, such as the authorization of new e-money issuers and capital operations. In addition, Călina has been involved in promoting best practices in corporate governance to non-financial companies which target an increase in competitiveness and facilitating their access to sophisticated funding sources.

Andrada Iliescu has more than 14 years’ experience in external audit, internal audit and advisory services. During her career, Andrada has led large transformation projects, both in the financial and operational areas.
In addition to this, Andrada has extensive experience in the field of outsourcing, and is actively involved in all aspects and stages of outsourcing, assisting clients in meeting their objectives. Andrada is also responsible for providing internal audit services to KPMG clients, and coordinates a team with a high degree of seniority and professional skills. Andrada's portfolio includes companies operating in more than 10 countries, located on three continents. Andrada is an energetic and empathetic person, who always brings passion and creativity to each project.

Elena Surdeanu graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest in 2004 and started her activity in KPMG immediately after graduation. She worked in financial audit for three years, later joining the Advisory department. For over 10 years, Elena has been part of the transaction services team. Her experience covers various consulting projects from different sectors, including banking, electricity, real estate and pharmaceuticals. Elena has coordinated due diligence projects involving professionals from various KPMG teams (financial, tax, IT and legal). She is also a member of CAFR (the Chamber of Financial Auditors in Romania) and an FCCA (Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant).

Alexandru Comănescu graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, and is an active member of the Chamber of Fiscal Consultants in Romania, with over 14 years’ experience in tax consultancy. Alex specializes in VAT consultancy, and is also involved in projects such as: general tax advisory, assistance with tax inspections, assistance in due diligence projects, refunds for both resident and non-resident companies, as well as obtaining opinions from the Romanian and European authorities.
In addition, he is the author of numerous articles on fiscal topics, which aim to support the business environment in Romania.

Iulian Dragomir joined KPMG in 2010 and has over 13 years’ experience in managing audits for numerous Romanian companies, as well as for international groups operating in Romania. Iulian is a member of the ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) and CAFR (Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania). He will soon become a coach. He is known for offering innovative and efficient solutions to clients, as well as for his direct and effective communication style. Iulian has an innate curiosity, and is passionate about technology.
