KPMG in Qatar appoints two new advisory partners

KPMG in Qatar has recently appointed two new Partners in Advisory, Nizar Hneini and Ali al Shabibi.


Both, Ali and Nizar, bring wealth of global senior leadership and business management experience.

Nizar has advised several boards and senior leaders in the public and private sectors on digital transformation, technology, governance and strategy execution topics. Prior to joining KPMG, Nizar has lead technology practices for consulting outlets in Europe and the region. Lately, he was Managing Partner at Detecon, a leading technology management consulting company headquartered in Germany.


Ali was previously group head of Assurance, Business Transformation and People at a conglomerate headquartered in Dubai. He, also, acted as an independent board member for a number of organisations and was a partner at EY heading the risk advisory practice in Dubai. Ali brings a wealth of international experience having worked in London, Singapore and Dubai previously. He led initiatives in transforming internal audit functions and governance frameworks, introducing digital transformation, delivering strategic HR initiatives and leading financial restructuring projects.
