Position title: Markets Lead

Business Unit: Markets, Central Support Services (CSS)

Location: Qatar

Reports to: Country Senior Partner

Summary of the role

The markets lead is an integral member of the firms leadership team with the responsibility of driving innovation and continuous improvement of the firm’s marketing programs. Other key responsibility includes client relationships, and championing marketing initiatives that enhance the firms brand and reputation.

Primary job responsibilities/accountabilities

—   Drive cross-service line collaboration to ensure they bring the best of the firm to KPMG in Qatar engagements

—   Draw on KPMG’s global network to deliver best practice in marketing.

—   Lead KPMG in Qatar’s client insights program, meeting senior business leaders to get information on our services that strengthen relationships, inform our go-to-market strategy and drive growth.

—   Leverage customer relationship and knowledge management to develop targeted sales campaigns and enhanced pipeline analytics.

—   Provide customer engagement and marketing advice to KPMG in Qatar clients.

—   Drive proactive media, digital marketing, thought leadership and other branding and client engagement initiatives.

—   Lead clients and markets team of marketing communications and knowledge management professionals – delivering outstanding support to the business.

The person

—   Graduate degree, preferably in Marketing / Business.

—   At least 10 years’ experience in developing and implementing complex marketing programs.

—   Demonstrable success in leading large pursuits and market segmentation processes.

—   Proven project management skills with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders.

—   Experience of working in a professional services environment.
