1 - Structure

Your CV should have a clear, coherent, brief and organized structure:

  • Write it in an appealing, objective manner, keeping the document length under two pages;
  • Read twice before sending, and make sure there are no mistakes;
  • Avoid using multiple colors and figures or elaborate layouts;
  • List your academic and professional experiences chronologically, from most to least recent;
  • Preferably, send as a PDF file. 

2 - Content

Include only essential information to the job you are applying for:

  • Personal information: name, date of birth, address, postcode, telephone number, email address;
  • Education: degree, educational institution, graduation date, final grade;
  • Training courses: course name, date, training provider;
  • Describe your language level and computer skills;
  • Relevant work experience: company, field of activity, job title, period, main tasks/projects, developed skills;
  • Technical and transversal skills;
  • Additional information: relevant extracurricular activities, volunteer work, international experience, etc. 

3 - Cover Letter

Should accompany your CV, but doesn't replace it:

  • Explain your interest in working with the company and your career motivation;
  • Describe your personal and professional goals;
  • Indicate your availability for an interview.
