Ahson is a Partner of KPMG Advisory Services Practice in Pakistan with experience in Audit, ssAssurance and Advisory Services. He is a member of KPMG MESA Digital and Innovation Steering Committee and a member of Climate Change and Sustainability Reporting Center of Excellence (CoE). In his current role as a partner, he is leading the Karachi RC | MC practice of over 100 employees.

Ahson has over 13 years’ experience in advisory and consulting. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant in Pakistan, an MBA and also has Computers Sciences and Chemical Engineering background. He has worked with global clients in different KPMG offices including KSA, Bahrain, Turkey and various other offices, providing core management consulting solutions, risk consulting and forensics to various clients in financial and banking, energy and power, media, oil and gas, software, public and manufacturing sectors.

Ahson has led various engagements mainly relating to sustainability reporting, sustainability assurance, social audits, strategy formulation, environmental, Social and Governance Due Diligence, External Quality Assessments, regulatory and compliance, ICFR etc. He is well versed with local and international laws, standards and regulations.

Over the last few years, he has spearheaded KPMG in areas such as Climate Change, Digital and Innovation, Future Skills, FRM, Strategy and Accounting Advisory and championed his role as a trusted advisor, transforming clients’ strategy, culture and standards and the need for change in the industry.

Outside of work Ahson is kept busy with his family, enjoys travelling, reading and is a fitness enthusiast.
