The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 125-2020, 26 November 2020, to disseminate the availability of BIR Form No. 1601-C (Monthly Remittance Return of Income Taxes Withheld on Compensation) January 2018 (ENCS) in the Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS).
RMC 125-2020 provides that Withholding Agents/Payors who are eFPS filers shall use the BIR 1601-C in filing and remitting the taxes withheld on compensation in accordance with the business industry grouping in Revenue Regulations No. 26-2002.
