On 23 February 2017, financial executives and professionals gathered to know more about the Personal Equity and Retirement Account (PERA), the newest investment vehicle. The seminar was organized by the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), the country's premiere organization of senior finance professionals. KPMG R.G. Manabat & Co. Vice Chairman and COO Emmanuel P. Bonoan was one of the speakers, sharing valuable insights on tax matters regarding PERA. Other speakers were Actuarial Society of the Philippines Fellow Ernesto E. Reyes who gave an overview of the Philippine pension system and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Director Annaliza Tan-Cimafranca who discussed PERA's regulatory framework.
