KPMG Lower Gulf seeks to provide opportunities to its Omani employees to develop their relevant skills and knowledge to pursue a successful career.
Dubai – April 17th 2019: KPMG Lower Gulf has announced the launch of its new Omani National Development Program “Al Falaj”. With this initiative, KPMG Lower Gulf seeks to provide opportunities to its Omani employees to develop their relevant skills and knowledge to pursue a successful career.
Approximately 75 individuals across the Advisory, Audit, Tax and Infrastructure verticals are set to participate in the program which will provide mentorship and active career counselling to KPMG’s Omani staff. The initiative, launched during an event held in Muscat last week, begins with one-on-one meetings to identify coaching needs, followed by individual development plans for each member.
Speaking about initiative, Kenneth Macfarlane, Partner in Charge at KPMG Lower Gulf in Oman, said: “KPMG is committed in supporting the Oman Government’s vision for Omanization and developing a robust strategy to ensure that Omani nationals have the right tools to participate in a highly competitive public and private sector. We are therefore pleased to launch the Al Falaj Program to provide Omani nationals a learning experience to support their search for fulfilling careers.”

To pursue the objective that we are the clear choice for our people, clients and communities, it is important that we do everything in our capacity to nurture our employees and invest in building their capabilities.
