Year-End Tax Planning seminar

Our 2.5 hour seminar (including Q&A) will cover the tax return and tax accounting "basics" for those involved in preparing the company tax return.



Specifically, we will cover the following areas:

  • Key tax return adjustments to accounting profit to watch out for.
  • End of year elections and tax tidy-ups.
  • A beginner's guide to deferred tax and tax accounting.
  • Understanding your imputation credit account and "debits" and "credits".
  • The disclosure obligations to ensure that your return (and time bar) requirements are met.
  • Tips for getting your provisional tax under control (including how best to utilise the new IRD use of money interest safe harbour rules and provisional tax pooling).
