A Lower Hutt company, Hot Lime Labs, is trialling a new technology that extracts carbon dioxide from waste wood to be used for increasing crop growth and production. The new method produces a low-cost, renewable source of carbon dioxide, which is hoped to reduce fossil fuel emissions for the sector.
