UK group Young Foodies is launching a new direct-to-consumers sales channel Mighty Small to help smaller brands which have been impacted by Covid-19, hoping to rejuvenate sales, boost cashflow and grow categories. Covid-10 restrictions have changed the way people shop, resulting in supermarkets reducing the shelf space available to small brands in order to focus on ‘’essentials’’. Mighty Small was created to encourage shoppers to support local producers and independent businesses. The delivery service will launch in London this week before being rolled out throughout the UK.
