After several years as a tax partner, Geordie Hooft joined KPMG in 2017. His background of dealing with a wide range of businesses (including listed, owner-managed, and not-for-profits) has given Geordie considerable experience in a wide range of tax issues. This includes domestic corporates and trusts, cross-border issues, property transactions and indirect taxes. Geordie communicates complex issues in a way that clients can understand, providing constructive and pro-active advice resulting in significant savings and clarity of obligations.
Geordie also enjoys working with business owners to help them understand the financial performance and position of their business, as well as forward planning. More than just annual compliance work, his interests include regular management reporting, strategic planning and cashflow forecasting.
