At KPMG, we are committed to fuelling New Zealand’s prosperity, not only for our clients but also our communities.
Commitment to our communities is one of KPMG's core values.
Doing what matters is at the heart of KPMG’s values and culture and an essential component of our common purpose of Fuelling the prosperity of New Zealand – improving the health, wealth and wellbeing for all New Zealanders. We encourage and support our people to work together to give back to their communities, through volunteering, fundraising and leadership, alongside a significant amount of pro bono work, together making a positive impact on a variety of non-profit organisations and charities.
Our Community Strategy
We believe that by being focused we can collectively achieve more, so KPMG’s National Citizenship strategy prioritises promoting and enabling the United Nation’s Global Goals for Sustainable Development – in particular Goal 4: ‘Quality Education and Lifelong Learning’. Inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all can help break the cycle of poverty, drive economic growth, inspire the next generation of leaders, and fuel community prosperity in our generation and for generations to come.
Our national strategy is supported locally by our National Communities Team as we also believe it’s important to partner with organisations that are significant to our people locally and encourage them to make personal choices about how and with whom they contribute to.
We are pleased to publish our 2019 | 2020 KPMG Corporate Citizenship Report which provides an insight into:
