As a Manager and Senior Analyst at KPMG's Corporate Intelligence Unit, Maral has expertise in corporate intelligence, investigative due diligence, third party risk management, and AML/KYC. Her core competencies include collection and analysis of open-source and human-source intelligence (OSINT, HUMINT), geopolitical and security risk assessments, and strategic intelligence in new jurisdictions and markets.
Maral is responsible for developing KPMG's OSINT methodology. She also provides training workshops to clients in open-source intelligence gathering methods, risk assessment and risk management.
She has experience from projects covering a range of sectors, including: oil & gas, financial services, energy, development, biotech, pharma, and construction. In her work, she has covered jurisdictions across the globe, including high-risk jurisdictions in the Americas, Africa, and Asia. Through rigorous research and analysis, Maral assists clients with the assessment of security, political, reputational and integrity risks relating to funding, procurement, and investment decisions.
