KPMG Ideation Challenge

Now’s your chance to fire up your synapses and solve the problems of tomorrow using artificial intelligence

Fire up your synapses and solve the problems of tomorrow using artificial intelligence

How can intelligent automation and artificial intelligence change the way a business services their customer base? We want to see what you can do with the revolutionary power of machine learning. Choose any business, tackle any problem and show us how your idea will make an impact.

Here’s how it works:
1. Register for the Ideation Workshop via ideationchallenge.kpmg.com before 6 March 2019.
You can choose to register as a team of five. If you don’t have a team yet, no worries, you can register as an individual and we will make sure you have a team to work with.

2. Attend the Ideation Workshop: 11 March 2019
We will kick off with the Ideation Workshop at our headquarters in Amstelveen. The workshop is structured to help your team make the biggest impact possible. You’ll be testing your ideas amongst some of the best STEM and business students, tackling the real issues facing organisations today. In this unique environment you’ll learn about yourself and your team and leave equipped with techniques to improve your innovative thinking in the future. During the three-hour workshop you’ll finalize your creative idea. Our judges will then pick the best idea and the winning team will take part in the KPMG Ideation Challenge Co-development Weekend.

3. Transform your idea into reality during the Co-development Weekend: 10-12 May 2019
During the Co-development weekend you’ll get to work alongside KPMG experts to co-develop your idea and see your idea transform into reality. You and your team will battle against the winning student teams from all over the world. The co-developed concepts will be presented to the KPMG Global Judging Panel, who will choose the overall global champion team. Your ideas will never be developed by KPMG without your team’s full permission.

4. Present your idea on a global stage during the KPMG Lighthouse Summit: October 2019
The overall global champion team will win an all-expenses paid trip to attend the KPMG Lighthouse Summit, taking place in October 2019. You’ll get an inside view into the world of innovation and digitalization and how it’s changing the business world. You’ll have the opportunity to network with industry leaders and present your idea on a global platform in front of top business professionals. Then your future begins.

Build your team of five or register as an individual (you will be placed into a team during the Ideation Workshop) at ideationchallenge.kpmg.com. If you register as a team you should try to have a mix of business and technical students on your team and we recommend at least one student should be familiar with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or Cognitive methodologies. You must be enrolled at a Dutch university. Do you have any questions? Please contact HR Recruitment, Lisanne Moonen
