  1. The personal data you enter will be used to send you the document or access link by e-mail.
  2. Personal data will only be used by us for the purposes indicated in the form.
  3. If you give your permission, the personal data you enter will be used to inform you about the subject in question in the future. This information may relate to newsletters, events or publications.
  4. Providing the personal data on this form constitutes your consent for us to process it.
  5. You can view and modify your profile and data at any time. Firstly, once your profile has been created, you can access your profile via the link which we will send you as confirmation. Secondly, you can also access your profile via the link to your 'preferences' which will appear in every e-mail we send you as part of this processing procedure. A third option is to access the site directly via preference.kpmg.nl.
  6. You are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe option which will appear in any e-mail message we send to you in connection with this processing procedure. The unsubscribe option can also be found in your profile page (accessible via preference.kpmg.nl).
  7. As part of this processing procedure, we will store your data in our relationship management system (CRM). If your data is already included because of other processing operations (e.g. ongoing services or sales calls), we will add the additional data provided by you and, in doing so, ensure we have a clear picture of you as a KPMG customer.
  8. We make every effort to ensure that your personal data is not stored longer than necessary. If the personal data you have entered via this form has not been actively updated or used by you or KPMG for one year, it will be deleted.
  9. If you have provided personal data via the lead generation forms of third parties such as LinkedIn or Facebook, this data may be used by these third parties to optimise their advertising possibilities and systems. For more information about how LinkedIn and Facebook handle your personal information, please refer to their respective privacy policies.
  10. KPMG protects your personal information from unauthorised destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised disclosure through its security policies and procedures. However, despite the far-reaching efforts of KPMG, the integrity of the data cannot be totally guaranteed against all threats.
  11. After the aforementioned third party has provided access to your personal data, access will be limited to those who are involved in these processing procedures on behalf of KPMG and those who are otherwise entitled to do so within the framework of privacy legislation. The individuals who have access to the personal data are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of such information.
  12. This processing procedure may require us to use the services of third parties, for example, with regard to IT services and other (administrative) support in sending out the e-mailings. The appropriate agreements will be concluded with the relevant parties concerned to ensure, among other aspects, that the correct and secure processing of the data is guaranteed in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
  13. You have the right to obtain information from KPMG regarding the personal data that KPMG processes about you. In addition, you have the right to request KPMG to access, transfer (data portability), correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data. If you wish to exercise these rights or have any other questions or comments about the processing of your personal data, please contact us at privacy@kpmg.nl. KPMG has also appointed a data protection officer who you can contact via FG@kpmg.nl.
  14. If you believe that the processing of your personal data by KPMG infringes on your privacy rights, you also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory (privacy) authority in your country (in the Netherlands this is the 'Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens' (personal data authority)).
  15. For more details on how KPMG collects, uses, shares and protects personal information, please see our Online Privacy Statement.
