About the deal

The shareholders of Plus 100, a reputable international developer and seller of outdoor furniture, reached an agreement on partnering with VE Partners, a Dutch mid-market private equity investor with extensive experience in (international) buy-and-build cases.

Headquartered in Roosendaal and founded in 1986, family-owned Plus 100 is a leading developer and seller of unique outdoor furniture, positioned in the upper part of the middle segment. Plus 100 serves both B2C and B2B markets through the labels BuitenHof and LIFE Outdoor Living. The combination of unique in-house designed outdoor furniture with great value for money and premium customer service is a key selling point vis-à-vis its competitors. Plus 100 operates an expanding network of own experience focused showrooms in the Netherlands and Belgium. LIFE Outdoor Living, on the other hand, is a globally recognized wholesaler offering its products via over 200 selected dealers and distributors.

In VE Partners, Plus 100 has found a partner with a proven track record in successfully supporting companies during a next phase of growth. VE Partners' down-to-earth approach as well as their demonstrated (growth) expertise were decisive factors in the selection of a partner. Jointly with VE Partners, Plus 100 will focus on the acceleration of its (international) expansion plan, optimization of its supply chain and further roll-out of its digital and ecommerce strategy.
