We are delighted to announce that KPMG Deal Advisory acted as the exclusive financial advisor to SK FireSafety, a company backed by Paris-based private equity firm Apax Partners, on the sale of 100% of the shares in SK AeroSafety to Levine Leichtman Capital Partners.
On the 24th of January 2019, SK FireSafety, a company backed by Paris-based private equity firm Apax Partners, has completed the sale of SK AeroSafety, its AeroSafety division dedicated to the maintenance of cabin safety equipment, to Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, a California-based private investment firm.
SK AeroSafety is the global leader in service, maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft safety equipment as well as other aircraft cabin components such as heat exchangers and fuel & hydraulic components. Next to servicing aircraft safety equipment the Company is active in the supply, exchange and storage of gases, including halon gas. Under the ownership of Apax Partners the business has been able to grow organically as well as through a series of acquisitions and a green field start-up. The company currently has physical presence in the Netherlands, UK, US, Malaysia as well as the United Arab Emirates.
