Edwin Herrie

Edwin Herrie is the Head of Advisory in the Board of Management. He joined KPMG in 2000 and became a member of the Board of Management in 2020.

Edwin’s career started at NIBC Bank, where he was responsible for a new department that focused on acquiring portfolios of residential mortgages. He was also co-responsible for commercial transactions, asset and liability management and the structuring of the very first securitization of residential mortgages in the Netherlands (now a national market of >300 billion euro). After NIBC Edwin ran the Structured Finance Fund at APG.

When Edwin joined KPMG in 2000, he established the Debt Advisory-team, with a focus on debt-transactions for financial institutions, big corporations and real estate and infrastructure projects. After several different positions he was named Head of Markets in 2016. From November 2017 to August 2018 and since October 2019 he took over responsibility as Head of Advisory.
