In their Enterprise Biz Bytes session, they discussed on what people are least excited about going back to their workplace, office politics even whilst WFH as well as the four day work week which may be a new norm in Singapore.
As restrictions are starting to lift, many are going back to the office; however, only very few people seem to be too pleased. In the podcast, the results of KPMG Malaysia’s WFH survey was mentioned which reveals 69% of respondents wanted the arrangement of WFH to continue post MCO and 56% of business owners are supportive of WFH arrangements.
It was further mentioned that the survey further revealed that 64% of respondents faced challenges while working from home, with the three main difficulties being network issues, communication barriers, and lack of technology readiness.
The challenges were further discussed in the session while highlighting other points like employee morale, organizational transition, managerial resources/ development and such.
