The Edge Rat Race to support The Edge Education Foundation in raising funds for students from the B40 community, for the participants, it is also an opportunity to build cooperation and team spirit as they reach the finishing line together. Besides having fun with each other as well, as representatives of other corporations, KPMG’s runners say taking part in the race is also about raising awareness for its cause.

Audit partner Eric Ong, who will be running in the CEO category who will be running in the CEO category, says the race is away to create a more caring society, allowing participants to support The Edge Education Foundation's projects and programs related to education. "Beyond the sense of achievement from finishing a race, running for charity creates opportunities to raise awareness for its cause," says Ong. "I believe everyone can make a difference.

This year, KPMG is sending a strong team comprising Yeoh Xin Yi, Au Soon Yong, Nicholas Crist and Albert Desmond Lawson. Except for Lawson, who is making his debut, all of them are veterans.
