Doubling down on Corporate Governance Watch 2020 and Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (2021 Update)

Governance

In supporting boards to build long-term resilience, the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”) released the latest iteration of the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (“MCCG”) which features the introduction of new and updated practices as well as further guidance to strengthen the governance culture of corporate Malaysia.

On a related note, the Asian Corporate Governance Association (“ACGA”) will be releasing its biennial report card, the Corporate Governance (“CG”) Watch, so as to uncover macro corporate governance quality across 12 markets in the Asia-Pacific region including Malaysia. This latest report will feature bigger and bolder findings that seek to set the tone on reform priorities for the region.

We are pleased to bring you this webinar anchored on the application of the updated MCCG and the key findings encapsulated in ACGA’s CG Watch 2020, and is curated to help boards and senior management personnel ring the changes.
