Beng Guan joined KPMG in 1993 and he was seconded to the Audit Department for 18 months in 1995/1996. He was also seconded to KPMG in Sydney in 2003, where he gained invaluable experience. Beng Guan’s tax experience covers a wide range of industries including a short stint with KPMG in Sydney. The clients he has advised include public listed companies in the property development, plantation, manufacturing, trading and investment holding companies. He also manages the tax affairs of a number of financial institutions, insurance and related financial services clients. Beng Guan is a Member of the Joint Tax Working Group of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants on Financial Reporting Standards.

His main areas of specialization is in tax due diligence, tax assurance review, group tax planning, tax restructurings, review of financial projections and cash flow as well as structured finance products and applications for various tax exemptions.
