KPMG's Corporate Finance practice and Zaid Ibrahim & Co. (a member of ZICO Law) are jointly conducting a survey to gather insights into business leaders’ sentiment on Mergers & Acquisitions (“M&A”) activities as Malaysia gradually works toward a post-pandemic economy.
Year 2020 saw major shifts in the global M&A scene as companies with strong balance sheets were capitalizing on a period of lower valuations, particularly on sectors impacted by the pandemic, while others re-prioritized their growth strategies or worked towards conserving liquidity until the stability of business returns.
Having experienced a challenging period in 2020, we believe that Malaysian businesses have had the opportunity to adapt and reinvent themselves, which includes the business’ strategic rationale and appetite for M&A. One of the key outputs of this survey is to highlight the motivation and challenges that business leaders may encounter in pursuit of M&A activities in the near future.
This survey is open to all CEOs, CFOs, Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, Corporate Development specialists and other equivalent positions that are responsible for M&A related decisions, and have existing business operations in Malaysia.
This online survey will take approximately ten (10) minutes to finish and is completely anonymous. To participate in the survey, kindly click on the link provided below:
