KPMG has earned this ranking for the third year in a row.
KPMG was ranked as the leading mid-market provider of M&A services for both the number of announced and completed deals in 2018, according to Refinitiv's Mid-Market M&A Review (deals up to US$500M). Formerly, Thomson Reuters Mid-Market M&A Review, this is the third year in a row KPMG has earned this ranking while the Organization has taken top spot numerous times since 2005.
“As the market evolves, bringing strategic and holistic value to clients remains our top priority, whether that means building stronger sector networks or enhancing our leading data & analytic capabilities,” commented Leif Zierz, KPMG's Global Head of Deal Advisory. “Our position in the league tables is market recognition of our member firms' ability to combine the broadest global network of M&A professionals and integrate them along sector and services, and earn the right to be our clients' clear choice.”
Refinitiv's Financial Advisor Review shows KPMG leading the M&A field in 2018 for Undisclosed Values & Values up to US$500M, with 507 deals. KPMG also came in first place in the European Involvement Mid-Market Rankings with 327 deals. Nationally, KPMG also placed first in Canada and Italy, and is first amongst the Big 4 in the UK.
