KPMG has won the prestigious award as Malta’s Best Tax Firm of the year which event is organised by International Tax Review.
In the introduction to the award giving ceremony, Ralph Cunningham, managing editor of International Tax Review stated that “Only companies and firms that have done work that has stood out have been nominated for these awards."
Pierre Portelli, a Partner at KPMG’s tax practice in Malta, who was present for the award at the 8th Annual European Tax Awards gala dinner held at the Dorchester Hotel in London on the 16th May expressed his satisfaction for the award. He commented that KPMG’s efforts to promote the continued training and education of their staff has allowed the firm to develop a very strong tax team with an in depth understanding of tax issues that enables them to offer sound solutions to their clients.
André Zarb, the Head of Tax at KPMG, was quick to point out that this award also highlights the client’s satisfaction with KPMG’s service, as the panel of judges carried out client interviews in order to reach their decision: "Meeting our clients' needs by providing them with innovative and practical solutions is our objective.
