Scott joined KPMG in 2004 after qualifying as a chartered accountant with another “Big 4” professional services firm in the Isle of Man. Since 2006 his focus has been on talent management and talent development. He worked throughout the KPMG Islands Group (Bermuda and the Caribbean, Malta and the Crown Dependencies) before joining KPMG in Malta in 2020.
Scott has served as Head of Learning & Development and later Head of People for the KPMG Islands Group, focusing on L&D, performance development, talent attraction and selection, inclusion and diversity, employee engagement and technology. He also undertook a two-year secondment to KPMG in Europe, Middle East and Africa, during which he delivered talent development centres and emerging leader programmes across the region.
Scott has worked with some of KPMG’s biggest global clients and has seen strategic talent development accelerate the careers of high potential employees across the board. He believes that employee engagement and talent development are mutually dependent and incorporates People and Change’s REAL philosophy (reflective, experiential, applied and supporting long-term development) in all bespoke design and delivery.
