Over the past 25 years, Malcolm operated across various geographies, working with, and advising a number of international and regional business enterprises. This experience has enabled him to become highly knowledgeable of the intricacies in acquiring, retaining, motivating, and growing human capital within mid-market entities and multi-nationals, predominantly organisations that are client-centric and performance driven, whilst also aligning this with the business strategy and operational structure of the organisation. Malcolm started his career as a Production Manager, after which he spent the next 11 years operating in the main financial centres in Europe, working as a People & Change advisor to Tier 1 Investment Banks. He then spent 7 years as Managing Director of his own boutique firm focusing on Advisory in organisational transformation through strategic Talent Management, and Project Management Services. In January 2017, his firm was acquired by KPMG Malta. Malcolm is a big believer in the potential of people, and an expert mentor in enabling people maximise their workplace potential. He is also a firm believer that, no matter the size of the enterprise, the greatest performance growth an organisation can experience is primarily achieved by maximising its people operations, enhancing employee performance strategically, and linking this to external customer satisfaction and loyalty. Malcolm also lectures at FEMA (Faculty of Economics, Management, and Accounting), at the University of Malta. He imparts his knowledge utilising a reflective, experiential, applied and long-term pedagogy, to MBA (Executive) and Bachelor of Commerce (Management) students.
