Alice forms part of the core gaming team at KPMG and is dedicated to all aspects of the Gaming industry as a whole. Alice works cross-functionally alongside KPMG’s dedicated teams of individuals who provide industry focused assurance, tax and advisory services to a large and varied client base across the gaming industry. Alice’s main area of focus within the department lies in assisting companies in acquiring a Malta remote gaming license; assisting our clients throughout the entire process of application, or renewal, of the internet gaming license and undertaking the general liaison with the Malta Gaming Authority in this regard. Alice stays on top of the complex regulatory gaming landscape in order to be able to assist our clients in gaining a better understanding of the impact of such regulatory changes as well as helping to improve their ability to meet new and fast-developing regulatory expectations. Alice closely assists the gaming team with working numerous techniques to help raise the bar and champion Malta as the jurisdiction of choice, including holding regular meetings with the Regulator at the Malta Gaming Authority and other industry stakeholders and attending international conferences and events. Alice is heavily involved in the organisation of the annual KPMG Malta eSummit which brings together a host of keynote speakers and industry stakeholders to discuss the latest trends in eGaming and receive sector updates. Alice is currently playing a central role in kick-starting the KPMG #WeAllWantToPlay initiative out in Malta. This initiative aims to raise awareness around the issue of gender diversity in the gaming industry and sheds light on the opportunities and challenges facing women in the Gambling and Betting Sectors.
