Matthew Attard

Matthew is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and a warranted CPA specialised in General Insurance with over 4 years of experience in reserving, Solvency II regulatory reporting and capital modelling, together with IFRS 17 consulting. Within his experience set, Matthew has worked on an extensive number of engagements such as USP derivation and validation, investment portfolio optimisation and formulating the basis for a partial internal model, developing effective solutions and tools in both R and MS Excel. He is currently a manager with KPMG Malta providing actuarial services in engagements such as those where the firm is the appointed actuarial function holder. Matthew also supports the firm with actuarial related matters including internal audit, external statutory audits and Solvency II audits for insurance companies and IFRS 17 engagements.
