Miroslav gained significant experience in Audit and Management Consulting during his work in Deloitte. He conducted and managed audits and due diligence in more than 120 firms (small and large), banks and insurances. As CFO in Dunav Osiguranje a.d.o he successfully managed and stabilized SAP system of all financial models. Miroslav also had great influence in the restructuring process of the company and participated in a better positioning of the company on the Serbian insurance market. During his work as general manager in MK Group, one of the largest holding companies in Serbia, Miroslav successfully established corporate governance structure which resulted in more efficient management. With a team of employees the most important business process have been defined and accordingly, prepared 40 procedures and those procedures were implemented. Participated in the preparation segment of the system to go out on IPO on the London Stock Exchange. As Head of Finance and Accounting in Metro Cash&Carry Serbia, he managed to optimize and efficiently establish specific business processes, implement factoring business. He managed to improve the company’s liquidity (placement of free funds) and business performance. He raised the level of financial discipline and accountability in business processes,. In addition, in negotiating with the banks provided a range of loans for customers of the company. With a team of associates made a tax optimization, through more efficient use of tax keys in SAP. Miroslav was General Manager of Internal Audit Department in National Bank of Serbia. During his work he had organized and coordinated activities and assignments under the scope of the Internal Audit activities, ensured the development strategy and operating goals of the Internal Audit and supervises their realization, ensured and supervised the application of the internal regulations of the Internal Audit. As Group CFO in MPC Holding d.o.o., for short time, Miroslav managed to establish the concept organization and functioning of the financial function. This includes strategic support to owner of the holding company in order to establish real and effective operations, optimize and improve business performance and maintain the capital by holding company and improve efficiency, risk management business in order to make strategic business decisions. Miroslav became a part of KPMG Belgrade Advisory Department in September 2015, and is in charge for Management Consulting engagements.
