“We are proud to announce that KPMG in Latvia and Lithuania will add their entities to our Swedish one. On a global level, we see an increased demand on professional services to become even more integrated as it promotes uniformity towards clients and safeguards quality in deliveries. The merger of our entities is the result of an extended period of preparations, and is a natural part of KPMG’s international development of deepened partnerships and collaboration. It will enable future investments and continued digital transformation. Together, we become an even stronger KPMG in the region,” says Björn Hallin, Chairman of the Board at KPMG Sweden.

KPMG Latvia consists of approximately 200 employees, all based in Riga. Armine Movsisjana, Managing Partner at KPMG Latvia, is looking forward to the cooperation opportunities and benefits that the combination will generate:

“Together, KPMG Sweden, Latvia and Lithuania will form an even stronger organization that can benefit from increased cross-selling, resource matching and an enhanced digital offering – both for clients and to enable efficient deliveries,” says Armine Movsisjana.

KPMG Lithuania consists of two offices with a total of approximately 170 employees, the largest in the capital Vilnius where about 70 percent of the employees are based. Rokas Kasperavicius, Managing Partner of KPMG Lithuania, adds:

“The merger will strengthen our operations and safeguard competitiveness in a market where scale is a necessity. Our similarities in business culture – both internal and in customer relations – makes this development natural and I look forward to what we can achieve together in the future,” says Rokas Kasperavicius.
