Manager in Management Consulting will seek out challenges, manage client engagements, demonstrate and share practical experience and knowledge in the field of infrastructure planning, development and project management, as well as possess powerful communication and team management skills. The role may entail various international collaboration opportunities providing a great base for your self-development in a global environment. 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Independently manage consultation projects for infrastructure development, energy and utilities, transportation and other projects in the field
  • Strengthen the Infrastructure Consulting service line and perform pro-active sales and business development activities
  • Build internal and external network and strong relationships with key clients
  • Ensure effective project management by achieving required revenue, efficiency and profitability targets
  • Manage project team, including coaching, providing constructive feedback and performance development
  • Work with experienced colleagues, enthusiastic team members and collaborate with colleagues from the KPMG Global network

Experience & skills

  • You have obtained higher education (degree in engineering will be considered an advantage)
  • You have at least 3 years’ experience in public sector, infrastructure development, transportation, or energy
  • Experience in developing business plans for infrastructure projects, performing cost-benefit analysis or managing infrastructure projects will be considered an advantage
  • You have experience in project and team management
  • You are a proficient IT user (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • You are fluent in Latvian and English, both written and verbal


  • You are emotionally intelligent, possess strong communication skills and ability to effectively cooperate with multiple stakeholders
  • You pay attention to details and are able to work within tight deadlines in a demanding and competitive environment
  • You are a self-motivated, ambitious and pro-active person who demonstrates good critical thinking skills, and is a “team player”
  • You are experienced in team management and able to achieve pre-defined goals while motivating and supporting your team
  • You have an eye for spotting opportunities in the market and ability to develop the right solution to tackle them
