Manager in Finance Transformation will seek out challenges, manage client engagements, demonstrate and share practical experience and knowledge in the field of finance process transformation, finance organization design and optimization, profitability and cost management, integrated business planning and project management, as well as possess powerful communication and team management skills. The role may entail various international collaboration opportunities providing a great base for your self-development in a global environment. 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Independently manage consultation projects to improve or redesign finance by leveraging digital technologies and modern operating models
  • Provide leadership, direction and guidance to senior and middle management level client stakeholders on their Finance transformation efforts
  • Strengthen KPMG Finance Transformation practice, identify business development opportunities and perform pro-active sales activities
  • Build internal and external network and strong relationships with key clients
  • Ensure effective project management by achieving required revenue, efficiency and profitability targets
  • Help foster an inclusive environment and manage project team, including coaching, providing constructive feedback and performance development
  • Work with experienced colleagues, enthusiastic team members and collaborate with colleagues from the KPMG Global network

Experience & skills

  • You have at least 3 years’ experience in financial management or back office finance processes
  • You have a relevant professional certificate (e.g. ACCA or CFA) and/or higher education in the field of finance, economics, business management or related field
  • You have experience with ERP and other key technologies and systems used in finance including data platforms/warehouses, analytics tools, , robotic process automation tools, low code / no code platforms, and ERP systems
  • You have experience in project and team management
  • You are a proficient IT user (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • You are a strong communicator in Latvian and English, both written and verbal
