Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist accountants with daily work by preparing various reports at the request of the accountants, maintaining filing, performing data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
  • Working with bookkeeping software
  • Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
  • Carry on everyday communication, both written and spoken, with counterparties in English and Latvian
  • Work with experienced colleagues, enthusiastic team members
  • Work full time for 6 months

Education and technical skills

  • You have a university, technical school or college degree, or you are a student in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics
  • You have a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
  • You are a proficient IT user (MS Office), in particular MS Excel
  • You are fluent in Latvian and English, both written and spoken

Personal attributes

  • You are willing to learn new skills and capabilities
  • You pay attention to details and accuracy, are able to work within tight deadlines in changing circumstances
  • You possess strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
  • You are a self-motivated and pro-active person who demonstrates good communication skills, and are a “team player”
