KPMG Luxembourg has today published an update to its response to the novel coronavirus. The company first shared its response on 11 March so as to support companies looking for guidance and assistance on steps to take in the immediate wake of the outbreak, and to keep clients and communities informed of ongoing developments.
The response has been updated to include details of business continuity plans. Philippe Meyer, Managing Partner, commented:
“We have been taking a number of concrete steps to ensure business continuity while caring for our people. A number of communication channels and technologies (such as VPN connection and other agile working technologies like Skype, Microsoft Teams) have been established to keep everyone updated, respond to questions, and ensure that client delivery continues to remain as close to schedule as possible in these unfortunate circumstances.”
In addition, the firm indicates that KPMG Global leadership and its network of offices globally are giving their full support to ensure client delivery throughout this period.
