“We are delighted to have Sebastien join the Executive Committee as Head of Tax. The skills and market reputation that he accumulated in the tax and corporate environment – together with the tax, regulatory and business expertise of our tax advisors - will allow us to accelerate the development of new concepts for our clients. Previously Head of People, Sébastien brings a focus on talent that will help steer the group towards the collaborative approach which is increasingly required in the face of digital transformation.”
Georges Bock, who served as Managing Partner of KPMG from 2012 to 2016, will coordinate with Sébastien over the coming months to ensure a stable and smooth transition.
KPMG Managing Partner Philippe Meyer added:
“Through Georges’ 27 year career with KPMG he has cultivated an expertise in tax while working with some of the world’s largest banks and investment funds. He has brought his passion for tax and technology to the Luxembourg market, initiating national collaborative projects including the Fintech Awards Luxembourg. In his role as KPMG Luxembourg’s Managing Partner, he directed the firm towards innovative and sustainable solutions for business. His approach to developing business is highly entrepreneurial and he is a strong advocate of technology. We wish Georges well in his future endeavors.”
