On 14 October 2020, the Luxembourg tax authorities added new guidelines to the DAC 6 portal on their website.
A reporting user guide is now available and provides practical information on a new process that will allow companies to report arrangements in scope of the amended law of 25 March 2020 implementing DAC 6.
The reporting XML file is also available online.
Intermediaries and relevant taxpayers will have two ways to file DAC 6 reports:
The Luxembourg tax authorities state that both solutions will be available from 1 January 2021.
The MyGuichet.lu procedure is still undergoing testing, and the guidelines may be amended in the future if updates are made. However, the guidelines already provide a lot of useful information that can help you understand the process. The XML file may also be useful when planning your DAC 6 reporting process and integrating it into your IT solution.
