We continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure that we keep everyone safe by following recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), local authorities in Luxembourg, and KPMG Global’s recommendations to member firms. For any confirmed cases within the firm, we make an effort to trace contact and inform relevant colleagues and clients as far as possible.
Our Executive Crisis Response Committee meets regularly to review the situation, make decisions and consult with our colleagues across the world.
Everyone is required to work from home, with rare exceptions only for business-critical or very specific situations. Our IT infrastructure allows all of our people to connect securely via VPN to the firm’s networks and resources. This infrastructure is being used together with Skype, Microsoft Teams and other agile working technologies to remain connected and continue serving clients.
A number of communication channels have also been established to keep teams and clients updated in a timely manner, respond to questions, and ensure client delivery remains as close to schedule as possible in these unfortunate circumstances. KPMG Global leadership and our network of offices globally are giving their full support to ensure continued client delivery throughout this period.
