KPMG Luxembourg is a proud sponsor of the “Planete Nanuk” climate change project.

After twenty-five years of observation around the world and in different seasons, Michel Rawicki has created a photo book documenting the situation being experienced by polar bears, a species that has become the symbol of global warming.

The exhibition, taking place from the 26 September to 24 November 2019 in different locations in Luxembourg City, is organized by the French Embassy, Institut Français, Association Victor Hugo, together with the Ville du Luxembourg.

Initiatives relating to environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and Sustainable Finance are of strategic importance to KPMG Luxembourg. As a firm that aims to empower change, this doesn’t just impact our business decisions.  We are also looking to examine the wider issues and the implications of environmental, social and governance challenges. We are proud to support the Planete Nanuk project in highlighting the impact of climate change and bringing awareness to how the decisions we make, in both our business and personal lives, can make a difference.

This project consists of photo exhibitions by Michel Rawicki and Eilo Elvinger, a series of conferences “The Explorers of the Cold” sponsored by Hubert Reeves, two seminars on climate change and a series of screenings of documentaries.
