The Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive becomes domestic tax law

Join our tax team for an update on the latest international tax developments, particularly ATAD 1’s transposition in Luxembourg.

16 October 2018, 5:00PM - 6:30PM, CET

KPMG Luxembourg is organising a conference on Luxembourg bill n°7318 transposing the Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive (ATAD 1) into domestic tax law.

Now that the bill has been issued, it is time for (especially cross-border) corporate taxpayers to assess the practical impacts of the proposed measures, which introduce in Luxembourg (as of 1 January 2019) new rules on interest limitation, controlled foreign companies, and intra-EU hybrid mismatches, as well as changes to the current provisions on abuse of law and exit taxation.

Our Luxembourg tax experts will discuss answers to such questions as: What is the content and the scope of the new rules? What will be the impacts on corporate taxpayers engaged in cross-border transactions? How to prepare best in advance of the new rules?
