As a Partner in the Alternative Investments team, Chris advises U.S. and pan-European private equity, real estate and private debt houses in various areas, including EU and Luxembourg tax and regulatory matters. Specifically, Chris assists AIFs with their tax governance to comply with new international tax standards such as BEPS, TP, ATAD and substance. He is also experienced in advising and structuring international deals for alternative lenders (credit/debt funds) including loan origination and securitization.
Setting up of regulated and unregulated private equity / debt funds.
Developing tax strategies for stocks and distressed debts investments made by debt/hedge funds, including distressed debt, securitisation and loan origination.
Assistance with structuring acquisitions, repatriation of income planning and leveraging acquisition vehicles.
