Structure and Governance

Legal structure

The key governance bodies for KPMG Luxembourg are the Executive Committee and the Supervisory Board.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is composed of seven members, comprising a number of key national and functional leaders. The role of the Executive Committee is to implement the strategy of the firm within Luxembourg and deal with key Luxembourg operational issues.

Supervisory board

The Supervisory Board comprises five members covering the different functions and sectors served by the firm. The Board’s main responsibilities are to:

  • Oversee the management of the firm by the Executive Committee
  • Act as a sounding board for the Executive Committee
  • Review the local partner remuneration process
  • Review the financial statements of the local firm at the year-end.
