Dear Readers,
The Ministry of Finance published a Draft Law on the State Budget for 2023-2025 for public discussions. The draft proposes to increase the Monthly Index Factor and other basic indexes.
The draft law establishes the following indexes effective from 1 January 2023:
- The minimum salary is 60 000 tenge (remain the same);
- The minimum state basic pension is 21 907 tenge (currently – 20 191 tenge);
- The minimum pension is 53 076 tenge (currently – 48 032 tenge);
- Monthly index factor is 3 450 tenge (currently 3 180 tenge – for social payments; 3 063 tenge – for fines and taxes);
- The cost of living for the calculation of basic social benefits is 40 567 tenge (currently - 37 389 tenge).
The draft law will stay on the public discussions till 8 September 2022.
