KPMG in Kazakhstan professionals hold business breakfasts in Atyrau, Almaty, and Astana

In late February and early March, KPMG in Kazakhstan professionals held a series of business breakfasts in Atyrau, Almaty, and Astana for the local business community.
The Tax & Legal team held two events: on 24 February in Atyrau, where Legal Consultant Askhat Zhumashev spoke to the audience on opportunities and challenges related to customs processing, and on 28 February in Almaty, where topical tax issues for finance sector companies were discussed. The most relevant materials on this subject were presented by Partner Inna Alkhimova and Manager Tatyana Novikova.
On 2 and 7 March Management Consulting professionals − Head of Management Consulting & Risk Consulting practice in Kazakhstan and Central Asia Saken Zhumashev and Manager Timur Akhmetov − held business breakfasts on separate accounting in Almaty and Astana. At the events KPMG experts discussed with the guests issues related to separate accounting implementation as part of management accounting and tariff setting processes, and overviewed current separate accounting trends. In addition, on 2 March Astana was the venue for a business breakfast on the automation of the financial reporting consolidation process. The event was hosted by Senior Manager Almira Shakiyeva, who also spoke about KPMG experience in this sphere.
The business breakfasts were attended by over 100 representatives from various sectors of economy.
