Scholarship Programs

KPMG in the Cayman Islands offers scholarships to qualified Caymanian students who have shown academic excellence and wish to complete an undergraduate degree, locally or overseas. Students should possess an interest in pursuing a career in Public Accounting in the Cayman Islands.

  • Local scholarship programs

KPMG in the Cayman Islands will provide financial assistance, per standard tuition costs, to attend the University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI), Associate of Accounting two year program. Sponsorship will include student fees, books and supplies as requisite. All payments are made directly to the college at the beginning of each term.

  • Overseas scholarship program

KPMG in the Cayman Islands will provide financial assistance of up to US$30,000 per year, up to a maximum of four and half years. This is intended to be used toward standard tuition, student fees, books and supplies, and room and board as needed.


Selection process

  • Applications are considered on an annual basis. 
  • Applicants will be required to undergo an aptitude test administered by KPMG in the Cayman Islands. 
  • Applicants will be required to attend an interview with the Recruitment Manager and a Partner at KPMG. Interviews are usually conducted between April and May.

Please note that the priority deadline for submission is February 1st, however all applications must be delivered to the KPMG office in the Cayman Islands by April 30th.

Novelette A. Ebanks Inspirational Scholarship

The Novelette A. Ebanks Inspirational Scholarship is offered to a student who displays strong academic achievement, a commitment to serving others - in the community and at school, showing strong work ethics and leadership qualities. 


The opportunity to apply for the Novelette A. Ebanks Inspirational Scholarship will resume in 2020/21.

KPMG in the Cayman Islands is proud to award the Novelette A. Ebanks Inspirational Scholarship to Rochel Gardener, who is majoring in Accounting at Indiana University in the United States of America.

Within her first semester, Rochel has obtained excellent grades and has become a member of the Economic Club. 

Rochel will be applying to the Kelley School of Business in order to fulfill her requirements as an Accountant major, and will pursue her Graduate degree upon completion of her Undergraduate qualifications. In the coming years, Rochel plans to enroll in additional societies that are of interest to her, in an effort  to enhance her academic abilities and help to shape her future. Rochel has demonstrated that she is a well-rounded individual and enjoys the opportunity to learn new skills and network with other individuals within her chosen field. 

Rochel will return to KPMG in the Cayman Islands to work within the Alternative Investment team during summers, to gain further experience based on her career aspirations.
