Nguon Socheata

Socheata is a Tax Director. She has 22 years of working experience in Tax & Corporate Services in KPMG Cambodia. 

Socheata has led various tax engagements including tax compliance, tax retainer, tax reviews, tax audits, and tax advice, covering a diverse range of business sectors. Additionally, Socheata has took an oversight role on Nationality Accounts in relation to the Great Mekong and Chinese Clients by working closely with our Chinese Desk and leading Chinese Tax Services Team to respond to the issues and the assistance needed from the Chinese Clients/Prospective Clients.

Socheata has developed a strong technical skill and a comprehensive understanding of the Cambodian Taxation Law and represented KPMG Cambodia in Tax Work Group to review the 2023 Taxation Law Update and address the issues of concern from the Private Sectors together with recommendations for further discussion with the General Department of Taxation.
