These Bills include the Income Tax; Value Added Tax; Excise Duty; Stamp Duty; Traffic and Road Safety; Mining; External Trade; The Tax Appeals Tribunal; The Fish; The Tobacco Control and the Tax Procedure Code Amendment Bills.
Once passed into law by the Parliament and assented to by the President of the Republic of Uganda, the Bills will take effect from 01 July 2021. This Alert summarizes the key proposals in each Bill and what they mean to you.
