Erastus is an Advisory Partner with the KPMG East Africa International Development Advisory Services (IDAS) practice, and co-leads delivery of our health sector projects. He has over 19 years’ experience working with 3 professional services firms across 6 countries. His skills and experience spans across programme and portfolio management, grant/fund financial management, monitoring and evaluation, financial and programme reporting, institutional strengthening and capacity building, among others.

His clients include the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM), Gavi the Vaccine Alliance, Grand Challenges Canada, among others.

Previously, Erastus led health programs including a global surgery program, Safe Surgery 2020, which was implemented in Tanzania and Ethiopia, as well as the Voucher Management Agency (VMA) for the Reproductive Health – Output Based Approach (RH-OBA) project in Kenya, which was co-funded by the Kenyan Ministry of Health and the German government through KfW.

Erastus holds a Master of Science in Public Health degree from the University of London. He also holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts – Economics Major from the University of Nairobi. He is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K).
