The Nairobi office serves as the regional coordinating office providing the required networking to facilitate delivery of services on a timely basis to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.

The firm has started a pupillage program to provide an opportunity for young lawyers to develop into commercial business lawyers and advocates through the experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams within the firm to offer complete, rounded solutions for clients through its tax and regulatory services department.

Learning objectives

The areas of focus during the 3-month program for purposes of instruction and supervision are: 

• Tax/legal research; 
•  Contract review and drafting of commercial agreements; 
•  Company set up and related legal support;
•  Drafting tax opinions and related documents;
•  Tax advisory;
•  Drafting inter and intra office correspondence
•  Client care and engagement planning;
•  Practice management essentials - timesheets, billings and collections; and
•  Such other work as shall be directed by the Pupil master from time to time.

Qualifications and experience

• An LL.B. degree with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Upper Division)
• Must be admitted to the Advocates Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law
• Internship or previous working experience would be an added advantage
